Uh, one of my favourite Old Who quotations (ifonlyIcouldremembertheepisode - it had rebels in it, but everything in Old Who has rebels in it) in lieu of the more spoilerific ( huge spoiler for plot arc, possibly, or maybe just something glaringly obvious )

I've been talking to joandarck about the chunks of New Who Season Two I've been feeding her. This has led to inadvisable meta.

Now, the subject of this is very simple, is Doctor/Rose real? I argue that it's not, it's an unrequited crush on Rose's part, to quote due South,

It's cracking and features regeneration, a namecheck for Jack (who the Doctor says is rebuilding the 25th century... but then can we trust him on that?) and sets up The Christmas Invasion.
